Gujarat Energy Transmission Corp. Ltd. is a Power Transmission Company of GUVNL having Offices and
Sub‐stations at different locations in Gujarat State. Gujarat Energy Transmission Corp. Ltd. offers a

The selected candidate shall be appointed initially for the period of
Three years as Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant Gr.I) and may be
considered for appointment to the post of Plant Attendant Gr. I on
regular establishment, in the pay scale of Rs. 26000‐56600 for two
years’ subject to satisfactory completion of three years as Vidyut
Sahayak. After Completion of Two years as Plant Attendant –I in the
scale of 26000‐56600/‐, he shall be appointed as Plant Operator
Grade –I on vacant post anywhere in Gujarat subject to fulfilling the
required criteria as per company’s Rules.

 Gujarat Energy Transmission Corp. Ltd. is a multi‐location Transmission Company having its
Corporate Office at Vadodara and offices and Sub‐stations in all over Gujarat. The above vacancies

Terms & Conditions
A. On‐line Application
1. Candidates who have passed/completed their Diploma on the date of
application and meeting with all the criteria may only apply.
2. Candidates are required to apply On‐line Application only through
www.getcogujarat.com
3. The candidates shall have to generate application number by registering on line
by filling up the On‐line Application Form and follow step by step instructions.
4. The link for On‐line Application will open on GETCO Website from 11‐03‐2024 at 12: 00
AM. Interested candidates meeting with above criteria may apply “On‐line” on or before
01‐04‐2024 before 06.00 P.M.
5. Candidates are requested to apply only if they are fulfilling requisite criteria. Since, we are
not seeking all the documents at the time of application; candidate has to doubly ensure
that he fulfills all the requisite criteria. All the documents of selected Candidates shall be
verified at appropriate stage and if found not fulfilling any criteria, his candidature shall
be cancelled immediately and his shortlisting in selection list shall not be a ground for
claiming employment/ recruitment.
6. Candidates who have completed all the tasks of On‐line Application process shall only
be considered for furtherselection process. However, mere submission of application does
not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for being considered for further selection
process.
B. Exam
1. 01. Two Tier Selection Process:
The selection shall be made through Two Tier Selection process.
 First Tier Exam:
– The OMR Based Test / examination should consist of 100 marks & the candidates
who score 50 or more marks in case of unreserved category and 45 and above
marksin case of reserved category, EWS and PWD candidates will be called for the
second Tier of exam in the proportion of 1:5 i.e five times the total number of
vacancies so advertised. The candidate who score marks as above in the first tier
of examination shall only be eligible for admission to the second tier examination.
After completion first tier of the exam, the candidate can view provisional
questions / answer key and in case of any objection the same can be raised within
the prescribed time limit.
– Upon completion of above, the list of marks obtained by each candidates will be
published along with final answer key on the website of GETCO.
 Second Tier Exam:
– The candidate scoring 50 and above marks in case of unreserved candidate and
45 and above marks in case of reserved category candidates, EWS and PwD
candidates in first tier of examination will be considered for second tier
examination in the ratio as mentioned above i.e. 1:5 meaning thereby 5
candidates to be called for 1 vacancy and so on. However, when numbers of
candidates who secured more than 50 marks exceeds the desire ration of 1:5,
the cut off would be adjusted accordingly to maintain the said ratio.
– The list of eligible candidates for the second tier examination will be informed
through notification on GETCO website.
– The eligible candidates will be issued hall ticketsfor the examination which shall
be downloaded from the GETCO website.
– After completion of exam, the candidates can view provisional questions /
answer key and in case of any objection the same can be raised within the
prescribed time limit on GETCO website.
– Upon completion of above exam, the result and the provisional merit list along
with answer key will be published on GETCO Website.
– The final ranking of the candidates shall be determined on the basis of the
marks obtained by him in the main examination (i.e. Second Tier examination)

3. Result Result of first Tier Examination will be eligibility for the second
Tier Examination only. The Candidates scored 50 and above
marks in case of unreserved candidates and 45 and above marks
in case of reserved category candidates, EWS and PWD
candidates will be called for second tier of examination in the
ration of 1:5. However, the eligibility criteria for second tier of
examination will be determined as prescribe above. The
minimum criteria for eligibility of second tier examination shall
not in any case be less than 50 marks for unreserved candidates
and 45 marks for reserved category candidates.
Result of second Tier Examination will be considered for Final
selection.
4. Ratio forsecond
Tier Examination
Candidates to be called for the second Tier examination shall be
1:5 i.e Five candidates to be called for one vacancy and so on.
5. Waiting list The validity of selection list will be one year from the date of
publishing the final merit list on GETCO Website.

The question paper for above both exams (first tier and second tier) shall be consisting of
100 questions each and the paper shall be of 100 Marks. Each question shall carry 1 mark.
There shall be negative marking system and¼ marks for each wrong answer shall be
deducted to arrive at total marks scored for both the tier of examination (first tier and
second tier).
3. The Management reserves the right to short‐list, select and reject any candidates for
exam as the case may be for selection.
C. Other Conditions
1. 5% marks (of secured marks in Exam) over and above actual marks secured shall be added
in case of Widow Female Candidates. The widow female candidate, if remarried shall not
be given advantage of grace of 5 % marks. Further, the widow candidates shall
categorically state so and informif they are remarried with necessary documentary proofs.
2. While preparing selection list, if two or more candidates found with equal marks in Exam,
they will be kept in merit according to their date of birth i.e. elder will be kept in priority
to younger and if the date of birth is also found same, then they will be kept in priority
according to alphabet seniority of name.
3. The Selection List as and when required as per the vacancy position shall be drawn from
result published. The result published shall be valid for the period of one year from the
date of publication.
4. The selection for the above posts will be on the basis of marks obtained in Exam and
subject to reservation rules, documents verification and pre‐ employment medical
examination.
5. The Management reserves the right to cancel the Selection List at any time at its sole
discretion, without assigning any reasons thereof.
6 The vacancies shall arise throughout the year and the appointment is subject to
requirement as per roster point applicable from time to time during the year.
7 The candidates shortlisted for Exam on the basis of their “On‐line Applications” shall be
required to submit photocopies of all the relevant certificates and subsequently, the
original certificates for verification as and when required and if not submitted within
prescribed time limit; their candidature will be considered invalid.
8 The candidates who have been given grades in their result shall have to submit acertificate
issued by their University/Institute specifying percentage equivalent to the grades obtained
by them along with decimals.
9 The candidates working in Government / Semi Government or PSU Organization shall have
to produce “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the concerned organization at the time
of documents verification, failing which, their candidature will be rejected.
10 If the selected candidate working in any company or organization, he/she shall have to
produce relieving letter from the previous employer at the time of resuming his/her
duty, failing which, his/her appointment order shall stand cancelled.
11 Caste (Roster category) Certificate of Gujarat State will only be considered.
12 SEBC candidates who fulfill the qualification and age criteria shall have to submit
valid Non‐Creamy Layer Certificate issued in Gujarati – પિરિશՋ – ક or પિરિશՋ – ૪ and
EWS candidates shall have to submit valid Income and Assets Certificate as per
Resolution No. E.W.S./122019/45903/A dated 23.01.19 & dated 25.01.19 in
prescribed format (in English “Annexure‐KH” or in Gujarati‐ પિરિશՋ – ગ) issued by the
Competent Authority of Gujarat State. The above certificatesshould be valid as on the date
of application as well as on the date of document verification if selected.
13 The selected candidates of ST category will be given appointment against the post of ST
Category only after the process of verification of Caste Certificate is completed by the
scrutiny committee / competent authority of Tribal Development Dept. as per the Govt.
Resolution No. CRR‐102018‐461239‐G‐2 dtd. 22.10.2018 of GAD, GoG.
14 In case the name or caste differ due to marriage or any other reasons in educational
certificates; then candidate shall have to attach the copy of Gazette for change of name
or caste, failing which, the candidature for the further process will be rejected.
15. Minimum 85% of representation in selection will be of local resident of Gujarat State as
per GR dtd.31.03.95. The candidate shall have to submit the Domicile Certificate of being
resident of Gujarat State if he/she claims appointment under 85% quota.
The candidates of Gujarat State are advised to get ready the domicile certificate issued
by the Competent Authority of Gujarat State at the time documents verification.
16. In case of selection, the candidates have to fulfill the requisite physical fitness from Civil
Surgeon as per the standards of company’s rules.
17. The selected candidatesshall be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of Gujarat Energy
Transmission Corp. Ltd. and shall be assigned work as per requirement. The candidate
selected for the post, shall not be transferred from GETCO to any other subsidiary
Company of GUVNL.
18. No travelling fare will be paid to any candidates for attending the Exam.
19. Filling up of the post is at the discretion of Management based on suitability of candidates.
The decision of management in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection
of the application made shall be final and management will not entertain any query or
correspondence in this regard.
20. Important: The candidates are requested to visit on www.getcogujarat.com for regular
updates / notices related to the recruitment process. The Company does not owe any
responsibility in this regard, if candidate fails to note latest updates, no claims shall be
entertained.
Further the candidate should fill the correct form in every respect and nothing should be
concealed or withheld by them. If any information furnished is found false at any time,
his/her candidature / appointment will be cancelled without any notice and legal action
will be taken accordingly.
21. Any amendment by the Company in regard to remuneration, tenure, pay scale, service
rules and other terms and conditions in future shall be part of above recruitment
process and shall be binding on the candidate.
22. If candidate possess degree in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or obtain
after his/her joining in GETCO, his further promotion shall be considered only on his/her
Diploma qualification and in future, he/she shall not claim for appointment to the post
of Junior Engineer or any higher post as a departmental candidate.
23. Canvassing in any form shall debar the candidate from selection.
24. As and when required, candidates shall be communicated only through their
registered mail.
25. Any application, even under the R.T.I. Act, seeking any information, will not be
entertained till the completion of the entire recruitment process.
26. The work may entail working in shifts and the Female candidates shall also have to
work in shifts, including night shifts and the necessary guidelines as per Law shall be
followed.
D. Stages of Recruitment Process
 On‐line Application
 OMR based Exam – first tier and second tier (Examination Centers will be anywhere
in Gujarat)
 After completion of the Exam (first tier and second tier), the candidates can view
provisional Question/Answer Key and if any objection, the same can be raised on
GETCO Website within 2 days on publishing the same.
 The candidates will be called for documents verification and pre‐ employment
medical examination considering the vacancies and roster position. Intimation in
this regard shall be given on their registered mail only.
 Final selection list will be prepared and appointment orders shall be issued to
eligible candidates accordingly subject to document verification and Medically fit.
The validity of selection list will be one year from the date of publishing the final merit list
on GETCO Website.

The selected candidate shall be appointed initially for the period of
Three years as Vidyut Sahayak (Plant Attendant Gr.I) and may be
considered for appointment to the post of Plant Attendant Gr. I on
regular establishment, in the pay scale of Rs. 26000‐56600 for two
years’ subject to satisfactory completion of three years as Vidyut
Sahayak. After Completion of Two years as Plant Attendant –I in the
scale of 26000‐56600/‐, he shall be appointed as Plant Operator
Grade –I on vacant post anywhere in Gujarat subject to fulfilling the
required criteria as per company’s Rules.

Terms & Conditions
A. On‐line Application
1. Candidates who have passed/completed their Diploma on the date of
application and meeting with all the criteria may only apply.
2. Candidates are required to apply On‐line Application only through
www.getcogujarat.com
3. The candidates shall have to generate application number by registering on line
by filling up the On‐line Application Form and follow step by step instructions.
4. The link for On‐line Application will open on GETCO Website from 11‐03‐2024 at 12: 00
AM. Interested candidates meeting with above criteria may apply “On‐line” on or before
01‐04‐2024 before 06.00 P.M.
5. Candidates are requested to apply only if they are fulfilling requisite criteria. Since, we are
not seeking all the documents at the time of application; candidate has to doubly ensure
that he fulfills all the requisite criteria. All the documents of selected Candidates shall be
verified at appropriate stage and if found not fulfilling any criteria, his candidature shall
be cancelled immediately and his shortlisting in selection list shall not be a ground for
claiming employment/ recruitment.
6. Candidates who have completed all the tasks of On‐line Application process shall only
be considered for furtherselection process. However, mere submission of application does
not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for being considered for further selection
process.
B. Exam
1. 01. Two Tier Selection Process:
The selection shall be made through Two Tier Selection process.
 First Tier Exam:
– The OMR Based Test / examination should consist of 100 marks & the candidates
who score 50 or more marks in case of unreserved category and 45 and above
marksin case of reserved category, EWS and PWD candidates will be called for the
second Tier of exam in the proportion of 1:5 i.e five times the total number of
vacancies so advertised. The candidate who score marks as above in the first tier
of examination shall only be eligible for admission to the second tier examination.
After completion first tier of the exam, the candidate can view provisional
questions / answer key and in case of any objection the same can be raised within
the prescribed time limit.
– Upon completion of above, the list of marks obtained by each candidates will be
published along with final answer key on the website of GETCO.
 Second Tier Exam:
– The candidate scoring 50 and above marks in case of unreserved candidate and
45 and above marks in case of reserved category candidates, EWS and PwD
candidates in first tier of examination will be considered for second tier
examination in the ratio as mentioned above i.e. 1:5 meaning thereby 5
candidates to be called for 1 vacancy and so on. However, when numbers of
candidates who secured more than 50 marks exceeds the desire ration of 1:5,
the cut off would be adjusted accordingly to maintain the said ratio.
– The list of eligible candidates for the second tier examination will be informed
through notification on GETCO website.
– The eligible candidates will be issued hall ticketsfor the examination which shall
be downloaded from the GETCO website.
– After completion of exam, the candidates can view provisional questions /
answer key and in case of any objection the same can be raised within the
prescribed time limit on GETCO website.
– Upon completion of above exam, the result and the provisional merit list along
with answer key will be published on GETCO Website.
– The final ranking of the candidates shall be determined on the basis of the
marks obtained by him in the main examination (i.e. Second Tier examination)

3. Result Result of first Tier Examination will be eligibility for the second
Tier Examination only. The Candidates scored 50 and above
marks in case of unreserved candidates and 45 and above marks
in case of reserved category candidates, EWS and PWD
candidates will be called for second tier of examination in the
ration of 1:5. However, the eligibility criteria for second tier of
examination will be determined as prescribe above. The
minimum criteria for eligibility of second tier examination shall
not in any case be less than 50 marks for unreserved candidates
and 45 marks for reserved category candidates.
Result of second Tier Examination will be considered for Final
selection.
4. Ratio forsecond
Tier Examination
Candidates to be called for the second Tier examination shall be
1:5 i.e Five candidates to be called for one vacancy and so on.
5. Waiting list The validity of selection list will be one year from the date of
publishing the final merit list on GETCO Website.

The question paper for above both exams (first tier and second tier) shall be consisting of
100 questions each and the paper shall be of 100 Marks. Each question shall carry 1 mark.
There shall be negative marking system and¼ marks for each wrong answer shall be
deducted to arrive at total marks scored for both the tier of examination (first tier and
second tier).
3. The Management reserves the right to short‐list, select and reject any candidates for
exam as the case may be for selection.
C. Other Conditions
1. 5% marks (of secured marks in Exam) over and above actual marks secured shall be added
in case of Widow Female Candidates. The widow female candidate, if remarried shall not
be given advantage of grace of 5 % marks. Further, the widow candidates shall
categorically state so and informif they are remarried with necessary documentary proofs.
2. While preparing selection list, if two or more candidates found with equal marks in Exam,
they will be kept in merit according to their date of birth i.e. elder will be kept in priority
to younger and if the date of birth is also found same, then they will be kept in priority
according to alphabet seniority of name.
3. The Selection List as and when required as per the vacancy position shall be drawn from
result published. The result published shall be valid for the period of one year from the
date of publication.
4. The selection for the above posts will be on the basis of marks obtained in Exam and
subject to reservation rules, documents verification and pre‐ employment medical
examination.
5. The Management reserves the right to cancel the Selection List at any time at its sole
discretion, without assigning any reasons thereof.
6 The vacancies shall arise throughout the year and the appointment is subject to
requirement as per roster point applicable from time to time during the year.
7 The candidates shortlisted for Exam on the basis of their “On‐line Applications” shall be
required to submit photocopies of all the relevant certificates and subsequently, the
original certificates for verification as and when required and if not submitted within
prescribed time limit; their candidature will be considered invalid.
8 The candidates who have been given grades in their result shall have to submit acertificate
issued by their University/Institute specifying percentage equivalent to the grades obtained
by them along with decimals.
9 The candidates working in Government / Semi Government or PSU Organization shall have
to produce “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the concerned organization at the time
of documents verification, failing which, their candidature will be rejected.
10 If the selected candidate working in any company or organization, he/she shall have to
produce relieving letter from the previous employer at the time of resuming his/her
duty, failing which, his/her appointment order shall stand cancelled.
11 Caste (Roster category) Certificate of Gujarat State will only be considered.
12 SEBC candidates who fulfill the qualification and age criteria shall have to submit
valid Non‐Creamy Layer Certificate issued in Gujarati – પિરિશՋ – ક or પિરિશՋ – ૪ and
EWS candidates shall have to submit valid Income and Assets Certificate as per
Resolution No. E.W.S./122019/45903/A dated 23.01.19 & dated 25.01.19 in
prescribed format (in English “Annexure‐KH” or in Gujarati‐ પિરિશՋ – ગ) issued by the
Competent Authority of Gujarat State. The above certificatesshould be valid as on the date
of application as well as on the date of document verification if selected.
13 The selected candidates of ST category will be given appointment against the post of ST
Category only after the process of verification of Caste Certificate is completed by the
scrutiny committee / competent authority of Tribal Development Dept. as per the Govt.
Resolution No. CRR‐102018‐461239‐G‐2 dtd. 22.10.2018 of GAD, GoG.
14 In case the name or caste differ due to marriage or any other reasons in educational
certificates; then candidate shall have to attach the copy of Gazette for change of name
or caste, failing which, the candidature for the further process will be rejected.
15. Minimum 85% of representation in selection will be of local resident of Gujarat State as
per GR dtd.31.03.95. The candidate shall have to submit the Domicile Certificate of being
resident of Gujarat State if he/she claims appointment under 85% quota.
The candidates of Gujarat State are advised to get ready the domicile certificate issued
by the Competent Authority of Gujarat State at the time documents verification.
16. In case of selection, the candidates have to fulfill the requisite physical fitness from Civil
Surgeon as per the standards of company’s rules.
17. The selected candidatesshall be posted anywhere under the jurisdiction of Gujarat Energy
Transmission Corp. Ltd. and shall be assigned work as per requirement. The candidate
selected for the post, shall not be transferred from GETCO to any other subsidiary
Company of GUVNL.
18. No travelling fare will be paid to any candidates for attending the Exam.
19. Filling up of the post is at the discretion of Management based on suitability of candidates.
The decision of management in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection
of the application made shall be final and management will not entertain any query or
correspondence in this regard.
20. Important: The candidates are requested to visit on www.getcogujarat.com for regular
updates / notices related to the recruitment process. The Company does not owe any
responsibility in this regard, if candidate fails to note latest updates, no claims shall be
entertained.
Further the candidate should fill the correct form in every respect and nothing should be

21. Any amendment by the Company in regard to remuneration, tenure, pay scale, service
rules and other terms and conditions in future shall be part of above recruitment

22. If candidate possess degree in Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology or obtain
after his/her joining in GETCO, his further promotion shall be considered only on his/her
Diploma qualification and in future, he/she shall not claim for appointment to the post
of Junior Engineer or any higher post as a departmental candidate.
23. Canvassing in any form shall debar the candidate from selection.
24. As and when required, candidates shall be communicated only through their
registered mail.
25. Any application, even under the R.T.I. Act, seeking any information, will not be
entertained till the completion of the entire recruitment process.
26. The work may entail working in shifts and the Female candidates shall also have to
work in shifts, including night shifts and the necessary guidelines as per Law shall be
followed.

 OMR based Exam – first tier and second tier (Examination Centers will be anywhere

 After completion of the Exam (first tier and second tier), the candidates can view
provisional Question/Answer Key and if any objection, the same can be raised on
GETCO Website within 2 days on publishing the same.
 The candidates will be called for documents verification and pre‐ employment
medical examination considering the vacancies and roster position. Intimation in
this regard shall be given on their registered mail only.
 Final selection list will be prepared and appointment orders shall be issued to
eligible candidates accordingly subject to document verification and Medically fit.
The validity of selection list will be one year from the date of publishing the final merit list
on GETCO Website.
