NATIONAL BRAIN RESEARCH CENTRE (NBRC) invites application to the post
of “Technician (Project)” under the DBT / Wellcome Trust India Alliance project entitled
“Study of neuronal regeneration using C. elegans ”.
Interested candidate fulfilling the following requirements can submit duly filled in
application as per attached format along with CV and self-attested copies of certificates in
support of their qualifications and experience latest by 01st April, 2024 to “Administrative
Officer (Academics), National Brain Research Centre, Nainwal Mode, Gurugram-122 052

Duties To generate reagents related to the project
Fellowship As per the terms and conditions of the project
Upper Age limit 50 years
Project Investigator Prof. Anindya Ghosh Roy, Scientist VI, NBRC
Tenure Appointment will be made on contract basis, initially for one
year. Continuation of appointment will depend upon satisfactory
performance during the appointment period and validity of the
project. The post is co-terminus with the project.
Accommodation Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to
availability.
Note:
1. No TA/DA will be payable to the candidates for attending the interview (online)
2 Only candidates who are shortlisted based on the shortlisting criteria will be called
for an interview.
3 Candidate are required to attach copies of their self-attested certificates of
qualification & experience in support of the claims made by them in their
application, failing which their application shall summarily stand rejected without

Instructions for filling the form
1. Item No 1-4 should be filled in capital letters.
2. Please attach the following with the application form.
a) Self-attested copies of certificates in support of your educational qualifications.
b) Category certificate for SC / ST / Physically challenged candidates.
c) Three reference letters.
3. In-complete application would be summarily rejected without giving any reason to the
candidate or entertaining any correspondence the candidate.
4. Merely fulfilling the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right
on a candidate for being called for interview. Since it may not be possible to call all the
candidates for interview, the applications will be short listed and the decision of the duly
constituted Screening Committee will be final. The Centre will not entertain any
correspondence in this regard and interim enquiries will not be attended to.
5. The job contract will be regulated as per the terms of the project and the prevailing rules and
procedure followed at NBRC time to time.
